What each project costs us to host

Every dollar we spend on Netlify, split across our client and internal projects over the last three billing months. Almost all of it comes from one thing: how often we publish updates to each site.

The ranking

Total spend by project

Three months combined (May–Jul 2026). Bar length = total cost. Teal projects are driven by publishing; copper projects are driven mostly by visitor traffic.

💡
Publishing dominates. Every time we push an update to a live site it costs 15 credits (~15c / NZ$0.26). We publish a lot, so this is ~87% of the bill. Fewer, batched deploys = lower cost.
